Who is Jennifer Draper?

Jennifer is a Pacific Northwesterner turned Chicagoan who is fond of creative storytelling, environmentalism, and her espresso machine.

She earned her master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, which took her to many places in pursuit of a great story—from the Mongolian wilderness to the annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest. Her background spans literary journals, newspapers, marketing firms, and trade magazines.

Now she is available for virtual or Chicago-based positions in the publishing industry.

Does she have any skills? (Short answer: Yes.)

Aside from a stint at Dairy Queen when she was seventeen, Jennifer has sought experience in facets of publishing: editorial, marketing, and design. She seeks to combine those sectors in an energetic environment conducive to literary fieldwork.
